megan whitmarsh is likely enamoured with all things yeti and embroidered. who can blame her? yetis are highly misunderstood and embroidery is just oh so pleasant to touch. mix in a dash of robots, lasers, masked men, and tiny mountains, you’ve got yourself a party.

jonas samson’s has created a high-tech light-emitting wallpaper that uses a two-dimensional flat surface as the light source instead of a 3D object. as long as the wallpaper is turned ‘off’, it’s indistinguishable as a source of light. instead, it is just what it appears to be: wallpaper. kind of crazy, highly amazing.

phillippe starck is an amazingly talented french designer. his lighting concepts and design are particularly fetching.
